It was truly an honour and a proud moment for me to be invited as the Chief Guest for the Career Counselling Session at Dr. RANM Arts & Science College.
Interacting with final-year students always gives me a different kind of energy. This age – early 20s – is one of the most crucial phases in life, where students stand at a crossroads filled with questions, confusion, pressure, and expectations. At this stage, the right guidance can completely transform a student’s future.
During the session, we spoke about:
Understanding one’s strengths and passions
The importance of skill-based education over just degrees
Real-world career opportunities in teaching, psychology, education, and entrepreneurship
How financial independence and self-identity play a major role, especially for young women
The mindset shift needed from “job seeker” to “career builder”
I also shared my personal journey – building multiple successful ventures and founding Brainzybee, and how choosing passion over fear changed everything.
What touched me the most was the students’ openness, their questions, and their willingness to explore beyond conventional paths. Many of them realised that careers today are not limited to just government jobs or corporate roles there is a whole world of opportunities if we are ready to upskill and take responsibility for our growth.
I am deeply grateful to the management and faculty of Dr. RANM Arts & Science College for giving me this wonderful opportunity to connect with such bright young minds.
Sessions like these remind me why I chose the field of education not just to teach, but to ignite clarity, confidence, and courage in students.
Because sometimes, all a student needs is one conversation to change their entire life path.
